After experiencing the benefits of yoga for almost 10 years, Alix decided she wanted to dive in and share the incredible benefits of yoga. Alix is a 500 hr Registered Yoga Teacher and received her 300-hr Certificate from Maui Yoga Shala where she studied with Nadia Toraman, and her 200-hr Certificate from GIVE Yoga specializing in Baptiste Power Yoga studying with Leah Westwater and Nicole Klasa.

Alix currently teaches for New Hampshire Power Yoga and Yoga for All Musicians. Being a professional harpist, Alix created her own private online yoga studio Om Is Where The Harp Is, that concludes each of her yoga classes with a relaxing harp performance during shavasana.

Alix has led yoga workshops for Boston Conservatory, Chamber Music America, American Harp Society National Conference, Arizona State University, Keene State University, New Hampshire Power Yoga, and Balancing Owl Yoga. 

Alix specializes in Baptiste Power Yoga, vinyasa flow and yin yoga. In all of her classes, Alix encourages her students to breathe, move and play together. Alix’s classes inspire fun, and creative, intuitive movement. Alix believes in empowering and supporting her students to empower themselves on and off the mat. 

In addition to being a yogini, Alix is a professional Harpist, serving as a Substitute Harpist for the Boston Symphony, on the music faculty at Phillips Andover, as Associate Harpist for The Columbus Symphony and Principal Harpist of the Lima Symphony. Alix graduated Pi Kappa Lambda from New England Conservatory with her Masters in Harp Performance and her Bachelor of Music from New York University. Alix currently resides in Nashua, NH with her husband Erik, and their miniature Australian Shepherds, Ollie and Indie.
